1. Information we collect
We may collect the following information:
- Contact information: name, email address and phone number.
- Business details: company name and project specifications.
- Usage data: IP address, browser type, and cookies to improve your experience on our site.
- For employees: mobile telephone number, and a record of which safety and training material has been assigned to or completed by them.
2. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide quotes and fulfil orders.
- Improve our products and services.
- Send promotional emails about new products or special offers. You may opt out at any time.
- Send safety and training notifications to our own employees, as described in section 3.
3. SMS and mobile privacy
Dayton Xenia Recycling and its trucking operation MBM Transport run a work text message program for our own employees. It is not open to customers or the public, and there is no way for a member of the public to sign up.
We send two kinds of messages. Safety and training notices tell an employee that training has been assigned, that assigned training is past due, or that a safety record is waiting to be read and signed; supervisors may also be told about a damage report or another safety matter in the yard. Dispatch messages are sent in a group text between dispatchers, drivers and yard staff to post and schedule container switches, pickups and deliveries.
Employees give their mobile number during onboarding and agree to receive these messages when they sign the employee handbook acknowledgment. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them, HELP for help, and START if you later want them again. Opting out of safety and training notices does not remove any training requirement and is not held against anyone. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. Mobile numbers are processed by Twilio Inc. solely to deliver messages, and by our dispatch system solely to read and schedule the requests posted in the dispatch group text. Numbers are kept in access controlled systems, seen only by the administrators who need them, and removed when no longer needed.
4. Security
We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
